Recommendations

Book the trip 4 to 5 months in advance, especially to secure Machu Picchu Circuit #2, the most complete and recommended route.
Ensure your passport is valid and matches exactly the name used during booking, as this information is required for Machu Picchu train and entrance tickets.
Be well acclimatized to altitude before starting the tour. We recommend arriving in Cusco at least 1–2 days earlier.
Bring comfortable hiking shoes with good grip for trekking days and uneven terrain.
Pack layered clothing, as weather conditions in the Andes can change quickly during the day.
Carry a light rain jacket or poncho, especially between November and March.
Use sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat due to strong high-altitude sun exposure.
Bring a small daypack for daily excursions (20–30 liters recommended).
Keep cash in Peruvian soles for tips, local markets, and small personal expenses.
Respect local communities by asking permission before taking photos, especially in rural and indigenous areas.
Follow your guide’s instructions at all times, particularly during hikes and visits to archaeological sites.
If you have dietary restrictions or medical conditions, inform us in advance so we can assist you properly.
Stay hydrated throughout the tour; carrying a reusable water bottle is highly recommended.
Consider purchasing travel insurance that covers high-altitude activities and trekking.
Be punctual for early departures, especially on Machu Picchu and Humantay Lagoon days.
Keep valuables secure and carry only what you need during daily tours.
